Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a senior asset management leader to drive lifecycle planning, maintenance optimisation and capex strategies across hospital and health service assets. You will collaborate with engineers, facilities teams and executives to improve reliability, service delivery and value for money.

The role requires strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and the ability to influence across a large health system while upholding governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Expertise in asset management and maintenance of complex production equipment, facilities and infrastructure assets.
• Lead asset lifecycle planning, maintenance optimisation and capex programs.
• Experience in financial, contract and procurement governance with data-driven decisions.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder influence within a complex organisation.
• Translates organisational objectives into long-term asset strategies and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset lifecycle planning and maintenance optimisation for reliability and performance.
• Oversee capital investment programs and governance to optimise service delivery.
• Analyse asset performance data to inform decisions and reporting.
• Influence stakeholders, manage change and provide authoritative guidance.
• Ensure sound governance, risk management and compliant asset practices.
