Job summary

Veolia Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Senior Asset Condition Assessment Officer to manage the condition assessment program at the Gold Coast Desalination Plant. You will work across engineering, maintenance and operations to identify asset risks, coordinate assessments and shape decisions to support long-term reliability.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification and a current driver's licence are required.
• Experience working within safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver the asset condition assessment program.
• Plan, schedule and record assessment activities through the CMMS.
• Coordinate work packages with engineering, maintenance and operational teams.
• Review internal and external assessment reports and challenge findings where required.
• Identify asset risks and recommend practical engineering and maintenance solutions.
• Develop scopes of work and coordinate specialist contractors.
• Improve condition assessment methods and maintenance management systems.
• Support site electrical and high voltage activities, including annual shutdown maintenance.
• Prepare clear condition assessment reports for key stakeholders.
