Job summary

Gough Recruitment QLD partners with a highly regarded architecture studio to appoint a Senior Architect / Project Lead for luxury multi-residential and mixed-use developments in Brisbane. You will lead design development, mentor staff and drive projects from concept through to design resolution.

This design-driven role offers close collaboration with Partners and senior leadership, opportunities to influence outcomes, and a clear path to leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in architecture or related field.
• Experience delivering multi-residential, luxury residential or mixed-use projects.
• Strong design, concept development and design resolution skills.
• Exposure to developer-led projects and stakeholder engagement.
• A portfolio demonstrating high-quality design outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development across a range of projects.
• Translate conceptual ideas into buildable architectural solutions.
• Prepare presentations, design studies and client-facing material.
• Collaborate with consultants, project teams and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews and share innovative ideas.

The Role
Working alongside Partners and senior leadership, you'll play a key role in developing design concepts, testing ideas, resolving complex design challenges and helping to deliver outstanding architectural outcomes.
You'll be involved in:

• Leading and contributing to design development across a range of projects
• Translating conceptual ideas into well-resolved architectural solutions
• Preparing presentations, design studies and client-facing material
• Collaborating with consultants, project teams and internal stakeholders
• Participating in design reviews and contributing innovative ideas
• Supporting project delivery while maintaining strong design integrity
• Building strong relationships with developer clients and project stakeholders

About You
We're interested in speaking with experienced Architects, Project Leads or exceptionally talented professionals who possess a strong design mindset and a genuine passion for architecture.

Ideally you'll have:

• 7+ years' experience
• Strong design, concept development and design resolution skills
• Experience delivering multi-residential, luxury residential or mixed-use projects
• Exposure to developer-led projects and stakeholder engagement
• The ability to take direction, test ideas and evolve concepts into buildable solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
