Job summary

Redgate is seeking a hands-on Product Security professional to embed security practices across engineering teams. You will define and operationalise security requirements from design through release, with authority to make independent security calls and triage findings.

You will partner with engineering and product teams to shape secure-by-default standards, guide threat modelling for new features, and drive practical risk reduction across cloud-native environments, including AI integrations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on product or application security experience embedded in SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Define and operationalise security requirements across the full SDLC.
• Own or co-own application security governance: secure-by-default standards and guardrails.
• Lead threat modelling for new features and architectural changes.
• Drive SAST/DAST adoption and quality, including tool tuning and triage guidance.
• Support product teams adopting AI, including LLMs, SLMs, and MCP.
