I’m recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Senior Application Developer to join a project that will make a real difference for Queenslanders. You’ll be part of a team building a new, innovative website that helps people navigate their training options and make informed decisions about their future.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll own backend systems, integrations, and data workflows. Your work will help turn complex data into fast, reliable, and user-friendly experiences.
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and maintaining backend systems and integrations.
- Working with Microsoft Dataverse and the Power Platform to manage and move data efficiently.
- Developing APIs and custom scripts to connect systems and optimise workflows.
- Cleaning, normalising, and preparing data for web use, while improving performance and load times.
- Troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements to keep systems running smoothly.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders and your team to make sure solutions meet real-world needs.
- Keeping documentation, standards, and processes up to date.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft Dataverse, including tables, relationships, business rules, and APIs.
- Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps or Power Automate.
- Solid backend skills, including building and consuming RESTful APIs and scripting (JavaScript or similar).
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data handling best practices.
- Passion for problem-solving, delivering practical solutions, and improving systems.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership, while collaborating effectively with a team.
