Job summary

Drug and Alcohol Services Australia (DASA) is seeking a senior clinician to lead clinical governance and strategic direction across Alice Springs and remote NT communities. You will oversee four Service Managers, guide complex client care plans, and ensure clinical best practices inform executive decisions.

The role focuses on program planning, delivery, and evaluation of AOD services, with responsibilities for intake, complex case management, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Alcohol & Other Drugs, Health, or Social Care
• Current Driver’s Licence with ability to travel to remote communities
• Experience managing concurrent programs and staff supervision
• Knowledge of current AOD intervention models and reporting
• Commitment to respectful work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, delivery, and evaluation of clinical and AOD programs
• Direct clinical governance, intake functions, and complex care plans
• Supervise four Service Managers and drive team performance
• Prepare budgets, grant proposals, and maintain stakeholder relations
• Monitor AOD research to address shifting regional drug trends
