Job summary

Aristocrat in Sydney is seeking a Sr. Animator to lead the 2D and 3D artwork for poker machine games. You will craft visuals, animations, and UI elements, while collaborating with a small, skilled team to refine builds and push creative boundaries.

Your work will shape world-class gaming experiences and storytelling across the portfolio. You’ll leverage Photoshop, After Effects, and industry tools, stay current on trends, and contribute to a high-energy, iterative development culture.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with Photoshop required.
• Proficient with After Effects.
• Able to tolerate feedback and iterate builds.
• Knowledge of 3D production pipelines.
• Experience with 3D animation.
• Familiarity with Maya or Blender.
• Understanding of Unity.
• Curiosity toward AI tools to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and compose 2D art and animations for poker machine games.
• Develop concepts and finished art including UI elements.
• Produce art in various styles with a sense of fun and originality.
• Collaborate to refine and iterate builds based on feedback.
• Ensure animations are impactful and align with the game build.
• Apply Photoshop and After Effects to produce high-quality art.
• Contribute to brainstorming and creative processes for game visuals.
• Stay updated with industry trends to improve animation standards.
