Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Android developer to own and evolve the Heidi Remote Android app as part of the Remote team in Melbourne. You will build and maintain Bluetooth/device connectivity, sync, and settings flows for a healthcare-focused product.

Collaborate with iOS and Desktop teams to ensure cross-platform consistency, while working with backend and firmware partners on integration and deployment.

Qualifications

• > 3+ years of Android development experience.
• > Fluency in Kotlin and Android ecosystem.
• > Proficiency with modern Android (Jetpack).
• > Experience with MVVM/Clean architecture.
• > Bluetooth or IoT device experience.
• > REST APIs, offline patterns, production debugging.
• > Comfortable owning features end-to-end.
• > Mandarin is a plus.
• > Nice to have Wi-Fi/enterprise network setup.
• > Nice to have Google Play release experience.
• > Nice to have iOS/cross-platform collaboration.
• > Nice to have healthcare or regulated product exposure.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, offline-friendly patterns, and production debugging
• Comfort owning features end-to-end in a fast-paced, high-agency team
