Tasmania Government is seeking a Staff Specialist in Anatomical Pathology to deliver high-level diagnostic expertise at Royal Hobart Hospital. The role involves providing services to clinical teams, undergraduate teaching, and supervising research activities.

The ideal candidate will have specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner, and be involved in research and training. This is a permanent, full-time position with on-call responsibilities and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Registered Medical Practitioner with specialist registration or equivalent qualifications.
• Current registration/license must be maintained.
• Experience in anatomical pathology or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide anatomical pathology services to clinical teams.
• Undertake undergraduate teaching of medical students.
• Supervise and train postgraduate specialist trainees.
• Conduct and supervise research activities.
