Job summary

RSM Australia in Sydney is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Corporate Finance financial modelling team. You will design, develop and deliver financial models considering complex accounting treatments and business requirements, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to translate data into practical insights.

You will contribute to client workshops, assist with budgeting processes, and present findings while mentoring junior colleagues.

RSM Australia's Corporate Finance team is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our growing Financial Modelling practice in Sydney. As a Senior Analyst within our Financial Modelling team, you will support the design, development and delivery of financial models that consider complex accounting treatments, financial structures and business requirements. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to transform complex information into practical, data-driven solutions and insights.

About you

Essential

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
• 2-4 years' experience in a related role, which may include Corporate Finance, Advisory, Audit, Tax, Banking, Transaction Services or Financial Analysis
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in understanding business drivers
• Ability to simplify and communicate complex financial concepts
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment

Desirable

• CA, CPA or equivalent qualification completed or nearing completion
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Networking and relationship-building capabilities
