Macquarie’s Risk Management Group seeks a professional to support governance and embedment of the Operational Risk Frameworks across the organisation. You will work with business leaders to uplift risk practices, delivering change and learning activities while developing expertise in risk assessments, control management, assurance, issues and incidents.

You will join a global team focused on independent oversight, challenge and reporting of material risks, with the opportunity to influence risk

Formación

• Experience in Operational Risk, Internal and/or External Audit within an international financial institution or professional services firm.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Solid project management and organizational abilities.

Join our Operational Risk Frameworks team within Macquarie’s Risk Management Group. The Operational Risk division provides the guardrails for effective risk management across the Group. We provide guidance to the business to support the management of their material risks, and deliver oversight, assurance, challenge, and insights on Macquarie’s risk profile.

What role will you play?

You will support the governance of Macquarie’s Operational Risk Frameworks, related strategic initiatives and embedment of principles across the organisation which may include facilitating design workshops, GRC system solutioning and delivering change and learning activities. You will develop subject matter expertise across Risk Assessments, Control Management, Assurance, Issues, and Incident Management to provide effective oversight over our frameworks and practices.

You will work with business leaders and their teams to provide support to uplift risk management practices across the organisation, whilst working with a dedicated team.

What you offer

• Experience in Operational Risk, Internal and/or External Audit gained within an international financial institution and/or professional services firm
• Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse set of stakeholders and build effective working relationships
• Strong project management and organisational skills adopting a constructive approach to problem solving.
• Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, present new ideas and work both independently as well as collaboratively
• Ability to remain agile and sustain a high level of quality in a fast-paced, output focused environment.
