Each day is a new journey, as we bring an exciting vision to life. We are SYD. United in the pride that comes with welcoming the world at Australia's premier gateway.
Sydney Airport manages one of Australia's most diverse and strategically significant commercial portfolios, spanning property, retail, ground transport and major development opportunities.
As Senior Analyst – Investment & Development Insights, you will help determine where and how Sydney Airport invests for long-term commercial value. Working directly with the Head of Commercial Investment and Development, Development Managers and senior leaders across the business, you will own analysis, challenge assumptions and develop clear recommendations that shape major investment decisions.
You will combine rigorous financial and commercial analysis with sound judgement and compelling storytelling - turning complex or incomplete information into a clear point of view and decision-ready advice for senior executives and the Board.
This is not a pure financial modelling or reporting role. It is an opportunity to influence which opportunities progress, how they are evaluated and how they are structured to create long-term value.
You combine strong analytical capability with commercial curiosity, sound judgement and excellent communication skills.
You enjoy working through ambiguity, testing assumptions and forming a clear point of view. You are comfortable with financial modelling and commercial analysis, but understand that the real value lies in explaining the "so what" and influencing better decisions.
You can turn data into a compelling narrative, structure information clearly and produce high-quality presentations, business cases and investment papers for senior audiences.
You may come from management consulting, property or infrastructure advisory, corporate finance, valuation or transaction advisory, or a commercial analytics role within a developer, infrastructure owner or REIT. Direct airport experience is not required.
This role offers unusual breadth and visibility: exposure to major commercial opportunities across multiple asset classes, direct engagement with senior decision-makers and the opportunity to see your analysis influence real investment outcomes.
