Overview

Join our Non-Financial Risk Assurance team within our Banking and Financial Services Group as an Assurance Senior Analyst and work within our ecosystem to enhance the risk and control environment.

What role will you play?

You will utilise your experience in a Banking or Wealth Regulatory environment to support the business manage risk and recommend improvements to our control environment to protect our clients and shareholders and enable sustainable growth for our business.

If you have experience in risk and control management and are interested in helping businesses design and develop their control environments to manage operational risk, we want to hear from you. As a Senior Analyst, you will be involved in supporting the business in managing material risks and controls, collaborating with stakeholders to understand end-to-end processes, and developing relationships with key stakeholders. You will also share learnings and leverage expertise across the broader Group and industry to implement best practice controls.

Qualifications
  • Degree qualification in a related discipline, such as Finance, Commerce, Law, or Technology
  • Be a risk professional with a proven track-record in operational risk and controls, ideally within Wealth/Banking in the Financial Services Industry, and with assurance or audit experience
  • Solid understanding of regulations and industry best practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Ability to analyse the root cause of an issue and identify potential solutions
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, and be comfortable working in an agile environment
