A2B Australia is seeking a commercially minded Financial Analyst to drive business performance through data-led insights, forecasting and strategic analysis. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will support planning, reporting and analysis across the business and transform data into meaningful insights that influence decision-making and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CA or CPA qualification preferred.
• Minimum three years' FP&A experience in multinational organisations or ASX-listed environments.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Experience with large datasets and key business drivers.
• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools like Power BI, DataRails or Adaptive Insights.

• Support the monthly rolling forecast and annual budgeting process, helping establish accurate financial and operational targets.
• Assist in preparing monthly management reporting with variance analysis and commentary for Board, CEO and Business Units.
• Contribute to the development of the five-year long‑term planning model.
• Prepare weekly operational performance dashboards and reporting.
• Deliver financial and operational modelling, including sensitivity and scenario analysis.
• Support month‑end activities for timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives across finance and reporting activities.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support as required.

As part of our Finance team and reporting to the FP&A Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting and analysis activities across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and proactive finance professional who enjoys transforming data into meaningful insights that influence decision‑making and support organisational growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the monthly rolling forecast and annual budgeting process, helping establish accurate financial and operational targets
• Assist in preparing monthly management reporting, including Board, CEO and Business Unit reporting with variance analysis and commentary

About You

You're a commercially aware and analytically strong finance professional who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively and using data to drive better business outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CA or CPA qualification
• Minimum three years' FP&A experience within multinational organisations, ASX‑listed businesses or similarly structured environments
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis capability
• Experience working with large datasets and identifying key business drivers
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query
• Experience using BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Datarails, Adaptive Insights or similar platforms
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
• Commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
