Job summary

RSM Australia seeks a professional to join our Restructuring & Recovery team, supporting lenders and clients through change with financial and operational advice.

You will gain exposure to financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, and business reviews in a fast-paced advisory environment, while building client relationships and developing expertise in insolvency within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Business/Commerce degree with Accounting Major.
• Law degree with interest in Insolvency.
• Completion or near completion of CA or equivalent.
• Commencement of Insolvency Education Program (ARITA).
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review receipt authority, payment authority, day one investigation letters and statutory forms.
• Conduct investigations into the affairs of a company/individual.
• Prepare ASIC reports.
• Assist with interview of directors/bankrupts.
• Review work of Graduates.
• Identify and resolve complex issues.
• Prepare letters of demand.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasts.
• Liaise with lawyers, agents and auctioneers.
• Prepare reports to creditors including financial analysis.
• Draft correspondence and act as main contact for engagements.

About the role:

Join a dynamic Restructuring & Recovery team where no two days are the same. Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll support businesses, lenders and stakeholders through periods of change, helping deliver practical solutions to complex financial and operational challenges. From financial analysis and cash flow forecasting to business reviews and turnaround initiatives, you’ll gain hands‑on exposure to a diverse range of engagements while building strong client relationships and developing your expertise in a fast‑paced, advisory‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review receipt authority, payment authority, day one investigation letters and statutory forms.
• Conduct investigations into the affairs of a company/individual

• Helps identify, research and resolve all complex issues
• Prepare letters of demand
• Assist with the trade on of a business including the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Liaise with lawyers, agents and auctioneers
• Preparation of reports to creditors including financial analysis
• Draft correspondence and act as main point of contact in regards to correspondence on engagements

About you:
