Job summary

Wests Group Macarthur is seeking a Senior AML/CTF Compliance Officer to support, manage and improve our AML/CTF Program across gaming venues. You will lead a team of Analysts, work with venue leaders and regulators, and ensure AUSTRAC compliance in a dynamic hospitality group.

The role offers senior specialist exposure with governance responsibilities and opportunities to broaden risk and compliance expertise within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in gaming operations, compliance, or regulatory governance.
• Strong analytical and investigative capabilities for financial crime risk.
• Ability to translate complex regulations into practical processes for venues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve the AML/CTF Program and Risk Assessment.
• Act as the Group's nominated AML/CTF Compliance Officer.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of AML/CTF Analysts.
• Monitor CDD activities including verification and source of funds checks.
• Oversee TMP and investigate unusual customer activity and risks.
• Coordinate external AML/CTF audits and remediation activities.
• Prepare and submit AUSTRAC reports including SMRs.
• Monitor legislative changes and provide practical compliance advice.
• Develop and deliver AML/CTF training across the Group.
• Build strong relationships with AUSTRAC, Liquor & Gaming NSW, and stakeholders.
• Prepare AML/CTF reports for Executive and Board review.
