Job summary

Perpetual Corporate Trust is seeking a Senior AML Analyst to monitor and investigate complex customer structures, ensuring AML/CTF, KYC, FATCA and CRS compliance across the business. You’ll work with Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit and Operations on sophisticated cases and regulatory reporting.

You will contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial crime controls, maintain KYC records and support global and domestic requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in AML/CTF, KYC or fraud investigations.
• ACAMS or ICA certification would be highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CTF legislation, regulatory reporting and trust/company products.

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer ownership structures to identify ultimate beneficial owners and related parties.
• Complete customer risk assessments for prospective and existing customers.
• Analyse transaction monitoring alerts and conduct detailed investigations.
• Prepare high quality Unusual Matter Reports for review by the Senior AML Manager.
• Conduct enhanced and ongoing customer due diligence using risk-based approaches.
• Review FATCA and CRS information and coordinate data for submissions.
• Advise internal teams on financial crime risks and regulatory obligations.
