Cloncurry Shire Council is seeking an Airport Operations and Compliance Supervisor to strengthen regulatory assurance and lead the Airport Reporting Officer team at Cloncurry Airport. This senior role acts as second-in-charge for the airport, coordinating audits and maintaining documentation to ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will supervise AROs, manage schedules and training, provide airside guidance, and support emergency readiness.

Qualificações

• Five years aerodrome operations experience (recent aerodrome reporting officer experience).
• Senior ARO/lead ARO or supervisory level experience.
• Strong knowledge of CASA requirements and Part 139 MOS.
• Experience coordinating audits and maintaining controlled aviation documentation.
• Ability to supervise staff, coordinate rosters and training.
• Excellent technical writing and stakeholder engagement.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate regulatory audits, inspections, and internal compliance reviews.
• Maintain Aerodrome Manual and operating procedures.
• Supervise Airport Reporting Officers and coordinate rosters.
• Provide guidance on airside operations, aerodrome works and wildlife hazards.
• Support emergency preparedness and liaison with regulators and airlines.
• Act as Airport Manager during absences and delegate duties when needed.
