Ballina Shire Council is seeking a motivated customer-focused individual to join our Airport team. Reporting to the Coordinator Airport Operations and Compliance, you will help maintain safe, secure and efficient airport operations while meeting regulatory requirements.

The role operates on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, with eligibility to obtain required aviation certificates and a Class C licence.

Qualificações

• Experience with airport operations, regulations and policies (e.g. Aerodrome Manual, Part 139, Security provisions).
• Proven communication skills, both oral and written.
• Digital literacy with devices and Microsoft 365 or similar apps.
• Eligibility to obtain required certificates (Airport Reporting Officer, ASIC) and to hold a firearms licence.
• Eligibility to obtain a Class C driver licence and to work weekends/public holidays/on-call.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain safe, secure and efficient operation of Ballina Byron Gateway Airport.
• Ensure compliance with reporting obligations and aviation security provisions.
• Work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays; participate in on-call roster.
