Department of Defence seeks an Executive Level 1 Air Traffic Controller to lead ATC operations at RAAF Base Richmond, overseeing supervision, training and policy guidance. The role requires independent decision making and robust people management in a high-pressure environment.

Ideal candidates will have ATC experience, familiarity with the Sydney basin and tower operations, and the ability to deliver expert policy advice. A strong focus on safety and compliance is essential.

Formación

• Must have an Air Traffic Controller license and CASA Class 3 medical certificate.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a high-performing ATC team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform duties of an ATC as directed.
• Conduct and supervise ATC training including staff briefing and documentation.
• Motivate ATC trainees and provide guidance under pressure.
• Carry out secondary duties as directed.
• Lead and manage a cohesive, high-performing team using emotional intelligence.
