Job summary

XPT Software Australia is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to own the technical design of agentic AI initiatives. You will ensure secure, scalable, and reusable architectures while aligning with central governance and enterprise standards.

You will mentor AI developers, shape patterns for orchestration, and balance speed with reliability and compliance across multiple stakeholders in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in solution or software architecture with AI or automation experience.
• Proven track record designing enterprise integrations using APIs and data pipelines.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure AI or Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform.
• Strong security architecture background: identity, least privilege, data protection.
• Experience defining reusable patterns and reference architectures for delivery teams.
• Ability balance rapid delivery with reliability, governance and scalability.
• Clear communicator bridging business needs and technical design.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into full technical designs for agentic AI.
• Define how agents orchestrate and connect to systems, data, and humans.
• Establish enterprise patterns, standards and reusable building blocks.
• Incorporate security first: least privilege and secure prompt handling.
• Align solutions with governance frameworks and relevant standards.
• Guide AI developers, review builds for reliability, scalability and compliance.
