Job summary

nbn® Australia is seeking a Software Engineering Expert, AI Security to design, build and operate secure AI platform services across our network. You’ll work with Enterprise teams to embed secure development and automated testing, improving resilience and observability.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, Architecture, Cloud and Responsible AI teams, mentor colleagues, and strengthen secure AI engineering practices in enterprise contexts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across software, cloud, DevSecOps or security engineering.
• Strong programming capability with AWS or Azure.
• Practical exposure to generative AI, LLMs, and agentic systems; knowledge of vulnerability remediation and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate AI security platform services.
• Embed secure development, automated testing, observability into delivery.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Security, Architecture, Cloud and Responsible AI teams.
