Job summary

Accenture in Melbourne seeks an experienced Senior AI/LLM Architect to design and deliver end-to-end AI platform architectures spanning classical ML, generative AI, and agentic systems. You will own technical design across domains, define NFRs, and lead architectural decisions for client engagements.

Responsibilities include establishing an MCP Control Plane, memory services, data pipelines, and RAG-grounded retrieval. Collaboration with data, ML, and application teams is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years designing & deploying enterprise AI solutions.
• Minimum of 2 years in agentic, LLM and Generative AI space.
• Minimum of 4 years coding in Python and ML/NLP experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a machine learning architect.

Responsibilities

• Translate business strategy into a technical vision by defining non-functional requirements for performance, reliability and cost.
• Lead stakeholder workshops to align on feasibility and project scope.
• Drive technology selection for AI platforms and foundational models.
• Architect multi-agent systems and governed MCP Control Plane.
• Design and implement the Agent Registry as the system of record and AI Gateway for runtime policy enforcement.
• Create a certification gate to validate identity, policies and evaluation metrics.
• Develop core agent services including a memory service with semantic, episodic and procedural endpoints.
• Architect end-to-end data pipelines for AI systems including data ingestion and preprocessing.
