CommonAI is building shared infrastructure and products to help organisations deploy deep-tech AI systems. We seek a capable software engineer who blends solid engineering with practical AI-assisted development, capable of using coding agents to speed up builds and shipping robust systems.

You will design, build and operate cloud-native, multi-cloud AI compute products, collaborating with founders and customers to turn ideas into production.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering fundamentals evidenced by shipped software.
• AI-native workflow: actively use agents and verify output.
• Linux exposure with deployment/ops experience (containers, cloud, observability).
• Clear communication and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship customer-facing multi-cloud AI compute products.
• Develop coding agents across the full lifecycle: investigation, design, implementation, testing, review, documentation and ops.
• Own the correctness and security of your code and agent-generated work.
• Build and operate cloud-native systems across multiple providers; diagnose Linux, network, container issues.
• Collaborate with founders, engineers and customers to turn ideas into production systems.
• Evaluate new AI tools and adopt impactful ones; shape architecture and decisions.
