Job summary

Oxford Knight in Sydney’s APAC head office is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build and deploy sophisticated agents that orchestrate data, workflows and firm‑wide decisions. The role offers end-to-end ownership of the project lifecycle and deep collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You'll work with Python, develop robust agents, and integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Python 3.x, asyncio, type hints and context managers.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, OO design and modular architectures.
• Experience with AI/ML libraries and integrating AI solutions.
• Experience developing AI agents with external services is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy sophisticated AI agents that orchestrate data, workflows and firm‑wide decisions.
• Own full lifecycle of agent development, from concept to production and evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategy into code and measure impact.
• Develop a platform to evaluate agents and integrate solutions with existing enterprise systems.
