Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a quality engineering professional to redefine testing in an AI-first environment. You will use AI tools to improve test coverage, identify issues earlier, and help deliver high-quality software across multiple platforms.

You will help build quality engineering practices, frameworks and safeguards that enable teams to ship faster, while shaping how testing evolves as AI becomes a larger part of software development.

What role will you play?

In this role you will use AI tools and automation to improve how we test and release software. You will help build quality engineering practices, frameworks and safeguards that enable teams to deliver quality faster, while shaping how testing evolves as AI becomes a larger part of software development.

What You Offer

• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants to generate, improve and maintain automated tests.
• Strong test automation skills across web applications, integration testing and API testing, with a good understanding of API best practices.
• Ability to assess AI-generated code and tests for accuracy, coverage gaps, unreliable outcomes and incorrect results.
• Experience integrating test automation into continuous integration and continuous delivery processes, and supporting early testing practices within teams.
• Understanding of how quality engineering changes when AI is used to develop software, including emerging risks and where human judgement remains important.
