Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and forward‑thinking Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer with 7–10 years of hands‑on engineering experience across AEM as a Cloud Service, Edge Delivery Services (EDS), and legacy AEM Sites. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong architectural thinking, and the ability to lead complex integrations—particularly AEM + Adobe Commerce (Magento) or equivalent enterprise commerce platforms.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working across backend OSGi development, front-end component engineering, cloud-native DevOps, and modern EDS document-based authoring. Experience using AI productivity tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate delivery is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

AEM & EDS Development

  • Architect, design, and develop scalable AEM solutions using AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
  • Build and manage content experiences using Edge Delivery Services (EDS) with document-based authoring (Google Docs / SharePoint + Helix/Franklin pipeline)
  • Modernize and refactor legacy AEM 6.x implementations (Classic UI, Touch UI, CRX/DE)
  • Develop custom OSGi bundles, Sling Models, Servlets, Filters, and backend Java services
  • Build responsive, accessible front-end components using HTL, JavaScript, CSS, React/Vue (for EDS blocks)

Commerce Integration (Mandatory)

  • Lead and implement AEM–Adobe Commerce (Magento) integrations using CIF, GraphQL, REST APIs, or custom middleware
  • Work with product catalogs, PDP/PLP experiences, cart/checkout flows, and commerce-driven content
  • Integrate AEM with Magento or equivalent enterprise commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce)
  • Troubleshoot and optimize end-to-end commerce content delivery, caching, and performance
  • Collaborate with commerce architects, backend teams, and Adobe/third‑party vendors to ensure seamless integration

Adobe Experience Cloud & Integrations

  • Work with Adobe Analytics, Target, AEP, Launch (Data Collection), and identity services
  • Implement and manage Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, MSM, and headless content delivery
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Adobe Cloud Manager

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and technical documentation
  • Mentor junior developers and guide best practices across AEM, EDS, and commerce integration
  • Work closely with UX/UI, content authors, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences
  • Actively use AI tools to accelerate development, debugging, documentation, and content workflows
