Job summary

Findex in Australia is seeking a Manager in our Business Advisory team to oversee a portfolio of complex client work, lead a team of Junior Accountants, and help shape a high-performance culture where compliance meets genuine client service.

You will prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and reconciliations, coordinate work across your team, manage client relationships, and coach staff to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification and a relevant degree.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a public practice environment with exposure to complex entity structures.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team and drive growth of people.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex financial statements, tax returns, special purpose reports and reconciliations across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
• Lead, delegate and coordinate work across your team; review outputs and manage timelines and budget.
• Manage client relationships proactively and identify opportunities for further engagement.
• Coach, mentor and develop your team and demonstrate day-to-day leadership by example.
• Maintain technical knowledge to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
