Job summary

Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) seeks a Principal Adviser to lead the Assessment and Planning Assurance team, guiding how end-to-end assessment and case management practices are developed, monitored and maintained.

You will coordinate assurance activities, apply governance frameworks, and provide strategic advice to improved offender management and rehabilitation pathways within the criminal justice system.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of offender assessment and case management
• Experience applying governance and assurance frameworks in criminal justice
• Ability to collate and analyse large information sources to provide recommendations

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and manage a broad range of assessment and planning assurance activities
• Develop, monitor and maintain end-to-end assessment and case management practices
• Engage with complex stakeholder groups to drive governance and improvement
