Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a driven HSEQ professional to provide leadership across Greenbushes and ensure adherence to company safety standards. The role focuses on risk management, reporting and continuous improvement in a mining setting.

You will coordinate safety programs, support HSEQ system implementation, and mentor site leadership while promoting a strong safety culture. This on-site position requires proven experience in heavy industry and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in HSE/WHS (minimum Diploma).
• Current First Aid qualification.
• Current unrestricted C Class Driver's Licence.
• Formal incident investigation qualification (ICAM preferred).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HSE role, preferably within mining/ heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety standards, reporting procedures and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and facilitate safety interaction programs with operational departments.
• Support the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the HSEQ Management System and site plans.
• Coordinate workplace inspections, audits and HSEQ performance monitoring activities.
• Provide HSEQ advice, training and support to employees, contractors and site leadership.
• Maintain HSEQ reporting systems and promote a proactive culture of safety and continuous improvement.

About the Role

Provide HSEQ leadership and support across Greenbushes, ensuring compliance with company standards, managing site risk and reporting requirements, and fostering a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.

• Provide HSEQ advice, training and support to employees, contractors and site leadership.
• Maintain HSEQ reporting systems and promote a proactive culture of safety and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

• Recognised qualification in HSE/WHS (minimum Diploma).

• Experience with safety management and reporting systems (INX preferred).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
