Job summary

Sunshine Coast Waterways Authority – Maroochydore QLD is seeking a Senior Advisor (Coastal Engineering) to provide specialist coastal and marine engineering advice to inform the development, assessment and delivery of SCWA projects and programs.

The role includes technical reviews, RPEQ engineering assurance, environmental planning input and oversight of consultants, with an in-office requirement for a minimum of six months as the organisation is established.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• RPEQ registration or ability to obtain within a specified period.

The Senior Advisor (Coastal Engineering) provides specialist coastal and marine engineering advice to inform the development, assessment and delivery of SCWA projects and programs.

PLEASE NOTE IT IS A BUSINESS REQUIREMENT FOR THE STAFF TO BE WORKING IN OFFICE FOR A MINIMUM 6 MONTHS WHILE THE SUNSHINE COAST WATERWAYS AUTHORITY IS ESTABLISHED.

Mandatory Requirements

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), or the ability to obtain registration within a specified period is required
