Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is seeking an Actuary to join a Federal Government Department focused on helping the disability community. The role is based in Parramatta or Surry Hills, Sydney with hybrid work-from-home options.

Duties include data extraction and cleansing from the data warehouse, updating performance monitoring, and supporting statutory reporting of the NDIS Act 2013 through data analyses for Board and Minister reporting.

Qualifications

Our client, a Federal Government Department focused on helping the disability community is seeking an Actuary to join their team November.

Duties:

• Extracting, cleansing and preparing of data from multiple sources, in particular the data warehouse, and advising on appropriate data checks for reasonableness.
• Updating and development of regular performance monitoring.
• Supporting the division to fulfil statutory requirements of the NDIS Act 2013 including the provision of data and analysis for reporting to the Board, Minister and for the purpose of public data sharing.
• Utilising statistical and mathematical modelling techniques to undertake analytical work on a range of tasks, including actuarial monitoring and analyses, data tabulations, scheme projects and cost benefit analyses.

Skills & Experience:

• Extracting, cleansing and preparing of data from multiple sources, in particular the data warehouse, and advising on appropriate data checks for reasonableness.
• Utilising statistical and mathematical modelling techniques to undertake analytical work on a range of tasks, including actuarial monitoring and analyses, data tabulations, scheme projects and cost benefit analyses.Updating and development of regular performance monitoring.
