Job summary

Domain is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to own the AR function in a busy automotive business located in Sydney’s north-west. You will manage the ledger across departments, chase overdue payments, and reconcile complex claims while partnering with management and the wider team.

The role demands 5+ years in AR, strong reconciliation skills, and a proactive, customer-centric approach. The Castle Hill office offers a stable, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years in high-performing AR teams.
• Collections experience including legal collections.
• Mercantile Agents principles knowledge.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable ledger across multiple departments.
• Follow up finance company settlements and vehicle payouts to ensure timely funds.
• Lodge, track and reconcile manufacturer claims including warranty, incentives and bonuses.
• Manage trade, fleet and account customers from invoicing through to collection.
• Reconciling receipts, bank transactions and debtor accounts; resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Prepare aged debtor reports and flag risk; support month-end close with the AR team.
