PERSOL is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant in Sydney to support financial accounting, AP/AR, reporting and compliance. The role reports to the Financial Controller and covers end‑to‑end accounting duties across multiple finance functions.

Ideal candidates will have strong Excel skills, solid experience with ERP systems (Dynamics AX preferred), and a proactive approach to process improvements.

Qualifications

• From the job: Senior Assistant Accountant or similar finance role with broad exposure across financial accounting, AP/ AR, reporting and compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems, Dynamics AX is highly regarded.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail with good organisational abilities.
• Proactive, independent worker with effective communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

• Manage full accounts payable: invoice processing, vendor maintenance, payments, reconciliations, vendor relations.
• Support accounts receivable: invoicing, customer accounts, credit notes, collections.
• Process employee expenses and company card reconciliations.
• Maintain financial records in ERP and support process improvements.
• Assist with daily banking activities and cash management.
• Perform reconciliations across bank, supplier, customer, and GL accounts; support month‑end close.
• Support BAS preparation and GST compliance; prepare regular management reports.
• Assist with stock reconciliations and fixed asset registers; forecast cash flow.
