Job summary

Inspire Accounting and Business Services in Mackay, QLD is seeking a Senior Accountant to own a client portfolio, mentor colleagues, and contribute to strategy with partners. This role offers ownership, variety, and clear career progression in a supportive, high-performing team.

You’ll provide tax, compliance, and advisory services, go beyond traditional tax work, and help develop broader advisory skills while engaging in development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in public practice accounting.
• CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion).
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of clients from start to finish.
