Job summary

Ulton is seeking aSenior Accountant to join our Bundaberg taxation team. You will work on diverse tax matters, provide insights for sound financial decisions, and contribute to client and team development.

You will prepare and review financial statements across entities, engage with clients directly to gather information, and support advisory work under managers and partners. You will also mentor junior staff and share expertise to strengthen the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Public Practice and/or Business Services.
• Recognised accounting degree, with postgraduate qualifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting requirements across entities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements for clients including companies, partnerships, trusts, and high- net-worth individuals.
• Engage directly with clients to gather information, explain outcomes and support financial clarity.
• Support advisory work under managers and partners, using technical strengths to inform next steps.
• Mentor junior accountants by reviewing work and sharing knowledge.
