Job summary

Apply Now in Canberra seeks an experienced tax and accounting advisor to manage a substantial portfolio of business clients and high net worth individuals. You will own each client relationship and lead assignments from information gathering through to completion and follow-up.

You will advise on tax law changes, manage deadlines and quarterly compliance, and lead advisory work in Xero while supporting directors on structures and estate planning.

Qualifications

• Strong Xero skills with clear client communication.
• Mature, client-focused approach with high integrity.
• Solid Australian public practice experience across tax and accounting.
• Curiosity to look beyond tasks and understand numbers.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on tax law changes arising from the Budget.
• Managing workflow, client deadlines and quarterly compliance.
• Leading tax and accounting assignments in Xero from start to finish.
• Supporting directors on structures, asset protection and estate planning.
• Assisting with management reporting, business decisions and annual valuations.
