Job summary

RecruitShop is representing a Canberra accounting and advisory firm delivering integrated tax and advisory services to business owners, high net worth individuals and private companies. The role focuses on owning client relationships, managing engagements from information gathering to completion, and delivering value across tax, accounting and advisory work.

You will work with a team that emphasises client-centric service, independence and flexibility while growing into more complex advisory

Qualifications

• Strong Xero skills and clear client communication.
• Mature, client-focused approach with strong integrity.
• Solid Australian public practice experience across tax and accounting.
• The curiosity to look beyond the task and understand what the numbers mean.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on tax law changes arising from the Budget.
• Managing your workflow, client deadlines and quarterly compliance.
• Leading tax and accounting assignments in Xero from start to finish.
• Supporting directors on structures, asset protection and estate planning.
• Assisting with management reporting, business decisions and annual valuations.
