Job summary

HLB Mann Judd in Sydney is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting and Tax Division. You will work with privately owned businesses and high net worth clients, delivering accurate financial statements and tax compliance, including GST and other taxes.

You’ll manage engagements, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to client advisory services using modern technology. We value flexibility, CA/CPA support, and a modern Barangaroo office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a Big 4 or mid‑tier firm.
• Relevant degree and CA or CPA qualified (or working towards).
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• The ability to manage priorities and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in Xero and prepare financial statements with tax concepts relevant to individuals, SMEs and investment clients.
• Manage and control assigned engagements, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of multiple concurrent assignments through effective use of technical expertise and resources.
• Deliver end‑to‑end accounting and tax compliance services across a portfolio of private, family and business clients, building strong and trusted client relationships.
