People2People is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the finance function in a community-based organisation in Brisbane. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, management accounting and compliance while mentoring a small team and partnering with senior leadership on budgeting and strategic projects.

You will work hands-on across reporting, budgeting and process improvements, with ownership and influence over finance operations as the organisation grows and expands services,

Formación

• CPA-qualified accountant with leadership capabilities.
• Strong experience in financial reporting and management accounting.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Ability to influence strategic decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing financial reporting, management accounting and compliance.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Leading and supporting a small finance and billing team.
• Providing financial insights to support business decisions.
• Identifying and driving process improvement initiatives.
