Job summary

Lead Group on the Gold Coast is seeking a Senior Accountant to own a varied SME portfolio within Business Services, providing exposure to tax and advisory work. This role offers greater client ownership and involvement with Managers and Partners, alongside CA/CPA development support and a defined progression ladder toward Assistant Manager or Manager.

You will handle financial statements, tax returns, BAS, and advisory opportunities while building strong client relationships and meeting critical

Qualifications

• Around 3+ years of Australian public practice experience.
• Strong Business Services and Tax experience.
• Experience managing or taking ownership of a client portfolio.
• CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards completion.
• Good communication skills and a genuine interest in client relationships.
• Desire to continue progressing in your career.

Responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns.
• Preparing BAS and other compliance work.
• Assisting with tax planning and advisory matters.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.
• Managing deadlines across your client portfolio.
• Working with Managers and Partners on more complex matters.
• Supporting and developing more junior team members where required.
