Grant Thornton Australia is seeking an experienced Business Services Senior Accountant to join our Melbourne Team. You will prepare financial statements, tax returns and related compliance for a diverse client base, including high net worth individuals and corporate clients.

The role requires CA/CPA qualification (or in progress), strong tax knowledge, and robust interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Formación

• Experience in a professional services firm with private clients.
• Knowledge of Australian Tax Legislation across corporates, private businesses, and individuals.
• Tertiary qualification and CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion).
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT, payroll tax returns, and provide tax/advisory support to clients.
• Prepare SMSF financial reports and tax returns.
• Research and analyse tax technical issues across areas.
• Liaise with ATO on matters including remission of penalties/interest.
• Monitor and liaise with clients and regulators on accounting compliance.
