Grant Thornton Australia is seeking an Accountant or Senior Accountant to join the Sydney Private Advisory (Business Services) team. The role involves hands-on accounting, tax and payroll tax work for a diverse client portfolio, with a focus on delivering a remarkable client experience.

Qualifications

• Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)
• Have commenced (or planning to commence) a CA qualification
• Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a desire to go ‘above and beyond’ to delight your customers
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment

Responsabilités

• Preparation of accounts, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns for a broad range of clients, from SMEs to large companies
• Assist with tax and accounting advice
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients
• Monitor, review and liaise with clients regarding compliance requirements
• Provide development, coaching and mentoring opportunities to less experienced team members as required
