Job summary

Moore Australia is seeking a Senior Accountant to work with partners and business leaders on sophisticated client engagements in our Business Advisory division.

You will prepare financial statements, tax returns and compliance obligations across a range of entity types, while contributing to budgets, cash flow forecasts and management reporting. The role offers flexible working arrangements and strong opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• CPA or CA qualification or near completion.
• 3+ years' experience in public practice accounting.
• Exposure to technical accounting and tax issues (Div7a, CGT, GST, etc.).
• Experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and Reckon preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns and compliance obligations for various entities.
• Maintain high-quality work papers and review general ledger entries.
• Assist with BAS, income tax, FBT, tax research and ATO correspondence.
• Support budgeting, cash flow forecasts and management reporting.
• Respond to client queries and maintain strong relationships under supervision.
• Commit to ongoing CA/CPA studies and professional development.
