• Experience in handling compliance work such as financial statements, income tax returns, activity statements, and FBT returns.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

• Assisting with tax and accounting advice and building client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns for a broad range of clients from SMEs to large companies
• Assisting with tax and accounting advice
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Developing and supporting junior team members
• Monitoring, reviewing, and liaising with clients regarding compliance requirements

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of tax compliance experience within an accounting public practice firm in Australia
• CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification
• Experience in handling compliance work such as financial statements, income tax returns, activity statements and FBT returns
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
