RSM Australia is seeking a Senior Accountant to go beyond number crunching, delivering insights that help clients thrive. You will analyse financial information, prepare reports, and maintain meticulous records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax liabilities for the Firm’s clients.

You’ll collaborate with Partners and mentor junior team members, contributing to internal development and client success within a people-centric culture across Australia.

Qualifications

• Business/Commerce degree with accounting major required.
• 2–3 years in a similar accounting role.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Responsabilités

• Prepare clear, concise work papers that serve as evidence of work performed and the foundation for decision making.
• Apply knowledge of the clients business environment and industry positioning to deliver tailored advice.
• Act as a mentor/buddy to graduates, sharing your knowledge and helping them with their work, to shape the next generation of accountants
• Prepare special purpose financial statements that comply with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards.
• Prepare documentation for Partners & Directors to present at client meetings and presentations.
• Prepare and analyse management accounting reports; and
• Research, identify and assist in resolving complex accounting and taxation issues.

About The Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will go beyond traditional number-crunching, providing valuable insights that help our clients thrive. In this role you will analyse financial information, prepare financial reports, and maintain meticulous records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for the Firm’s clients.
