Full Job Description

Following a sustained period of growth and several interesting projects in the pipeline, a leading infrastructure company are currently looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to their team.

The role supports the management of a large asset base across the organisation and opens the successful candidate up to a broader business partnering opportunity.

The Role

• Facilitate financial management of asset procurement and work-in-progress
• Complete asset capitalisations – review incoming asset invoices and related transactions for completeness and correct coding
• Ensure asset register data quality – continual review and maintenance of asset data (primarily custodians and locations)
• Assist Financial Controller with monthly, quarterly, annual reporting – focus on depreciation, commitments, insurance return and any other tasks required
• Complete Business Activity Reporting (BAS) – quarterly reporting of capital expenditure as required by the ABS
• Manage relationships and financial performance for a small set of cost centres
• Provide backup to Financial Controller, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams

The Candidate

• Experience working with a large asset base
• Telco / Infrastructure / Asset-intensive experience highly desirable
• Previous business partnering experience preferable
