This fully remote role supports the Manager and Partner, handling a portfolio of SME and large private clients with turnover from $3M to $20M across hospitality, legal, retail and professional services.

You should be CA/CPA qualified or an intermediate with 4+ CA/CPA modules completed, with a solid public practice background and strong client-relations skills.

Senior Accountant – Business Services | Large Brisbane CBD Firm

Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 including super
Location: 100% work from home

About you: A current intermediate or senior accountant (business services) in an Australian Accounting firm

Right to work: Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents only

Where you live: We are accepting applications from those who live anywhere in Queensland, Northern NSW or Sydney. Please note, you will do a 3 day induction in Brisbane and be asked to come to the office 2-3 times a year for training and social events.

About the Firm
Riverside Recruitment is proud to be working with one of Brisbane's best accounting firms to recruit a Senior Accountant to join one of their business services teams. This team is lead by an experienced Partner, an ex Big 4 Director and 2 experienced Associate Directors.

About the Role
This is a fully remote Senior Accountant position where you will work closely with both your Manager and the Partner to ensure client relationships are maintained and deliverables met.

You'll assist a Manager to manage a portfolio of SME and large private company clients with turnovers from $3M to $20M, across hospitality, legal, retail, professional services and HNWI groups, delivering both compliance and advisory work.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting the Manager and Director with compliance for a a portfolio of SME and large private company clients across compliance and advisory

Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns and related work

Assisting with advisory and tax planning work as required

About You

CA or CPA qualified, or an intermediate accountant with 4+ modules of CA/CPA complete

Solid public practice background (only those who have worked in a private tax/business services team in an accounting firm will be considered

Strong technical skills and a genuine interest in client relationships
