Job summary

MW Recruitment is assisting an established public practice on the southern Gold Coast to recruit a Senior Accountant. Join a flat, supportive team handling family groups and property investor clients with no BD pressure, with potential for partnership for the right person.

You will prepare financial statements and tax returns, provide advisory to property investors, and perform tax planning and BAS/IAS/FBT compliance while working directly with clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Solid Australian public practice experience in Business Services and Tax.
• CA/CPA qualified or progressing.
• Strong knowledge across individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Commercial mindset and confidence advising clients.
• Humble, team-first attitude and not title focused.
• Seeking a long term move with a quality firm.

About The Role

An established public practice firm on the southern Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant. What You Will Be Doing

• Preparing financial statements and tax returns for family groups across all entity types
• Providing advisory to property investors on residential and commercial investments
• Tax planning and advice for business owners
• BAS, IAS and FBT compliance
• Working directly with clients and the partners
• Supporting and reviewing work of less experienced accountants
