FourQuarters Recruitment client, an emerging energy and asset management business in Sydney, seeks a Group Financial Controller level professional to lead financial accounting and analytical duties. You will manage month-end, budgeting, cash flow, and statutory reporting in a capital-intensive environment.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will liaise with stakeholders, drive process improvements, and contribute to board reporting.

Qualifikationen

• CA qualification or near completion.
• 4-6 years total experience.
• Experience in capital intensive projects/asset management environment.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving capability.
• Energetic, motivated and hands-on, with excellent communication skills.
• Keen to learn, grow and progress with a scaling organisation.

Aufgaben

• Month-end reporting including journals, accruals, prepayments and intercompany transactions.
• Assist with monthly management and board reporting, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Budgeting/ forecasting.
• Supporting half-year and full-year statutory reporting requirements.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Cash flow management.
• Liaising with divisional finance, operations and external auditors.
• Process improvements and ad hoc project involvement across the wider finance function.

The Role

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller you will take on a broad role with a mix of financial accounting and analytical duties, including:

• Month-end reporting including journals, accruals, prepayments and intercompany transactions
• Assisting with monthly management and board reporting, including variance analysis and commentary
• Budgeting/ forecasting
• Supporting half-year and full-year statutory reporting requirements
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cash flow management

About You
